Celebrate Black History

In order to celebrate Black History Month, my 5th grade class is creating PowerPoints about prominent African Americans.  My students are working in pairs to find information on three different people. I am hoping this will be a learning experience for them to see how many different people have influenced our society. Some of the names I have included range from George Washington Carver to Barrack Obama.
